In my 24th year as a World Language teacher, I teach 6th and 7th grade French, next door to Michelle, at Falmouth Middle School. I earned a B.S. in French Studies and Math at SUNY Albany, and my Master of Arts in Teaching from the Graduate College of Union University. When I moved to Maine, I studied Spanish at USM. I was President of FLAME, our state’s association, a World Languages Teacher Leader in Maine, and I co-presented sessions at NECTFL and ACTFL.

I studied abroad in Tours, France in 2001, and recently visited Senegal and Tunisia with Vive l’Expérience. I enjoy leading student trips for Students Love Travel to Europe, Québec, Puerto Rico and Martinique, and teach students how to be travelers, not tourists. When I’m not traveling, I like to spend quiet time at home or outdoors with my husband and our two boxers, Ghost & Spirit.

My favorite artist from Manie Musicale is Black M, with Angèle as a close second. I am so honored to be a part of Manie Musicale and so grateful for all of the work that Stephanie and Michelle have put in over the past 10 years!
